Workshops on media literacy

Media literacy is essentially the ability to access, analyze and evaluate messages in a variety of forms, from print to video to the internet. It cannot be stated enough that the last one is of particular importance in today’s digital age.

This makes it especially important to learn this skill for it creates an understanding of the role of media in our society. Thus we see it as our solemn duty as the National Library of Curaçao to give workshops to schoolchildren and teachers in which we help them develop or improve their media literacy skills.
